Welcome to the BC Hear the Child Society!    We are  a recently formed non-profit society composed of legal and mental health professionals.

Our main purpose is to give every child the opportunity to share their views whenever their best inerests are being decided in the justice system.  To achieve this, we will:

• establish and maintain a roster of  non-therapeutic child interviewers qualified to listen to and gather children’s views; and
• provide educational opportunities to those who gather and hear the views of children in the justice system.
