I am a second-generation Chinese Canadian who lives, works, and plays in Vancouver with my husband and three children. I have worked as a social worker, counselor, and mediator for almost 18 years. I am passionate about building safe and restorative relationships across generations even if it means making a decision to end a relationship. Doing this well requires understanding of the unique strengths and challenges of each relationship and family and breaking any patterns that are unhealthy.
Hear the Child Reports are important as they can provide families with answers on how to move forward with their new family dynamic. I am passionate about listening to the voice of the child and being able to clearly articulate what they are thinking and feeling through careful observation and documentation. I have worked with many families in conflict and building understanding is critical to healthy ways forward.
